چکیده
Abstract Black alder ( Alnus glutinosa [L.] Gaertn.) is an important component of riparian and wetland ecosystems in Europe. However, data on the growth this significant broadleaved tree species very limited. Presently, black currently suffers from pathogen Phytophthora particularly threatened by climate change. The objective study was to focus impact climatic variables (precipitation, temperature, extreme events) radial across its geographic range during period 1975–2015. stands aged 46–108 years conducted 24 research plots a wide altitude (85–1015 m) 12 countries Europe Asia. most months affecting were February March, where air temperatures are more than precipitation. Heavy frost weather fluctuations first quarter year main limiting factors for diameter increment. Within geographical setting, latitude had higher effect compared longitude. variable concerning parameters altitude. temperature’s increment negative lowlands yet turned positive with increasing Moreover, sensitivity precipitation significantly decreased age stands. In conclusion, variability number pointer increased time, which caused ongoing change also possible drop groundwater level. Riparian well supplied water better adapted extremes plateau marshy sites.

Vulnerability of white spruce tree growth in interior Alaska in response to climate variability: dendrochronological, demographic, and experimental perspectives1
This paper integrates dendrochronological, demographic, and experimental perspectives to improve understanding of the response of white spruce (Picea glauca (Moench) Voss) tree growth to climatic variability in interior Alaska. The dendrochronological analyses indicate that climate warming has led to widespread declines in white spruce growth throughout interior Alaska that have become more pre...
متن کاملGrowth across Countries
Numerous studies have explored the relationship between economic freedom and longrun economic growth across countries. See, for example, the studies cited in the recent review by Berggren (2003). One particular aspect of economic freedom that has received relatively little attention in the empirical growth literature, however, is the extent of government regulation. Determining the impact of re...
متن کاملGrowth response and ion distribution of two canola varieties to different potassium to sodium ratios
Rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) is a crop relatively tolerant to salt. The effect of different ratios of NaCl/KCl was studied in two cultivars (Hyola308 and Kristina) of Rapeseed in 2002. Canola seedlings were grown in Hoagland’s solutions, which were salinized by different ratios of NaCl/KCl. The treatments or KCl:NaCl ratios were 0:0 (control);10:10; 20:0 (Total Added Salt or TAS=20 mol.m-3), 0:...
متن کاملReading achievement growth across countries
International surveys of students like PIRLS and PISA provide comparisons of learning achievement across participating countries. Although country rankings usually receive considerable attention, other results are far less discussed. While ranking position of a country is clearly important when assessing the overall potential of its students, this is less informative for education policy as the...
متن کاملA New Method to Compare Statistical Tree Growth Curves: The PL-GMANOVA Model and Its Application with Dendrochronological Data
Growth curves are monotonically increasing functions that measure repeatedly the same subjects over time. The classical growth curve model in the statistical literature is the Generalized Multivariate Analysis of Variance (GMANOVA) model. In order to model the tree trunk radius (r) over time (t) of trees on different sites, GMANOVA is combined here with the adapted PL regression model Q = A · T...
